It's a fair question — and an important one, because the right sealer applied correctly will protect your investment for years, while the wrong job can lock in stains or cause peeling. Here's an honest breakdown of what to expect.

A 500 sq ft patio might cost $400–$700 depending on condition and the product used. Driveways tend to be larger — often 1,000–1,500 sq ft — so budgeting $800–$1,500 is realistic for most homes.

Several factors move that price up or down. The biggest variable is prep work.
